TAP Knife Gate Valve

TAP is a knife gate valve distinguished by a wide range of applications in many branches of the public utility and food industries. It ensures a free transfer of fluids and suspensions with a concentration of solid particles on the level of 5%, or a 35% concentration of loose sludge. A split housing with no dead zones prevents solid materials from depositing inside the gate valve. A cutting off member made of high grade steel ensures a reliable operation in an aggressive environment. A multilayer sealing pack seated in a specially shaped pocket of the gland ensures effective sealing as well as an extremely long lifetime and period of maintenance-free operation. A sealing seat without hollows is reliably self-cleaned by the flowing medium. The above average efficiency and effectiveness of operation is a result of synergy of proven design solutions and experience in fitting design.
