KTG Knife Gate Valve

KTG is a knife gate valve designed for difficult conditions of operation. It is distinguished by a wide range of applications in different industry branches, such as mining, the pulp and paper industry or metallurgical industry. Owing to its unique sealing system and monolithic housing the KTG knife gate valve makes possible a free transfer or cutting off of highly concentrated suspensions with a content of loose sludge, solid components of paper pulps and abrasive materials exceeding 5% and reaching 35%. As a standard the valve is fitted with a clean out situated in the bottom part of the housing, which allows one to quickly and easily remove a deposited medium. A sealing seat without hollows is reliably self-cleaned by the flowing medium. A multilayer sealing pack seated in a pocket of the gland ensures effective sealing as well as an extremely long lifetime and period of maintenance-free operation. Use of a rising stem significantly reduces the torque necessary for operation of the fitting. A universal assembly for connection of a gate valve actuator allows one to easily apply any actuator without additional operations.
