TKB Storm Flap Valve

TKB is a storm flap designed for use in sewerage systems and land melioration facilities. Mounted as a gravitational end or network fitting, protects effectively the systems against medium backflow. The storm flap is intended for mounting at outlets of sewerage systems or channel culverts with variable free surface levels. The flap opens due to a pressure difference pushing the flap on the system side and closes when the pressure on the outlet side exceeds that in the system. Owing to appropriate balancing or use of a TKB-BA counterbalance the flap does not obstruct the medium outflow.
